OUR MISSION.

Lumiere Electric is a locally owned and operated electrical company serving San Diego County, with a special focus on North County communities including Carlsbad, Del Mar, Encinitas, Rancho Santa Fe, Solana Beach, Oceanside, Vista, and San Marcos. We specialize in high-quality residential and commercial electrical work, from remodels and custom lighting to EV charger installation, including Tesla home chargers and Tesla destination chargers.

Founder Chris Steensma is a second-generation electrician with over 11 years of professional experience. His electrical journey began at just 4 years old, shadowing his father, Chris Sr., on job sites across San Diego. Through hands-on learning and mentorship, Chris gained an unmatched foundation in electrical work that led to earning his C-10 electrical contractor license. Today, Chris leads Lumiere Electric alongside co-founder Audrey Steensma, providing trusted electrical services across San Diego and North County, from Oceanside to Del Mar.
